Finally 21

My LB Kurtie just had his 21st birthday on July 31st. To celebrate we (Mom, Dad, Bret, Grandma, Grandpa, Kurt, Shai, Jason, and I) took the fun bus out to Wendover. We had a fun time. On the ride out a crazy man sat across the aisle from my mom. When we got there we were all starving so we used our coupon and went to the buffet. We had plenty to eat. After dinner we went and used our other coupon to get our 5 dollars to play on. The first place we went was to the blackjack tables. Kurt, Bret, Jason, Dad, and even my Mom sat down. They all ended up losing, but played awhile before busting. Then we went over to another Casino and played blackjack and poker on the machines. Jason ended up winning some of the money he lost, but I lost some there. Shai and Kurt went back to the first Casino and Kurt played blackjack some more on the tables. Once we got over there. The table was full and everyone was making pretty big bets. Kurt was able to win there too. In all no one lost a lot of money, and we all had a really good time. Kurt is a great guy! He has always seemed older than he really is, he was 16 for two years in a row. I just don't believe that he is that much younger than me. We have had some really good times together. Kurt is a very giving guy and would do anything he could to help someone out. I am just glad that he is my brother!

I'm so glad to find out that you have a blog. And I can't believe that little Kurt is a grown-up. Wow! Sounds like you are doing well. So sorry we weren't able to connect while I was in Utah. My in-laws Internet was out of order most of the time I was there AND the phone number I had for you was disconnected. We also just have way too much family who expected us to see them while there. Enough excuses already. :) I'll be sure to catch you on our next trip. Meanwhile I'll keep checking back here.
